Attndi vs fingerprint machines vs paper registers

Most Ugandan workplaces track attendance with a paper register or a biometric fingerprint machine at the door. Here is how a face and location check on staff phones compares.

Questions

Is face scanning as reliable as fingerprints?

For attendance, Attndi combines three checks: the face must match, the phone must be inside the workplace zone, and it must be the employee’s own registered phone. Together they are harder to beat than a fingerprint at a door.

What about staff without smartphones?

A colleague can check them in on their phone using the person’s member ID, and the person’s own face must still match. The dashboard records whose phone was used.

Can we switch from our machine?

Yes. Import your staff from a spreadsheet, draw your workplace zones, and staff sign in on the app. The Attndi team sets it up with you.
