The terms for using Attndi

1. What Attndi is

Attndi records attendance for workplaces. Employees check in and out on their own phone with a live face scan inside their workplace zone; companies see the records, shifts, meetings and reports in the dashboard. How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

2. Accounts

• Companies are set up by the Attndi team. The company's admins then add their employees; employees cannot create their own accounts.
• Keep your password and your phone to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell your admin, or us, straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• Each employee checks in on their own registered phone. A colleague may help someone without a phone only through Help a colleague, where that person scans their own face.

3. Using Attndi fairly

You must not:

• check in for someone else, or let someone check in as you, except through Help a colleague with their own face;
• fake your location (for example with a GPS spoofing app), use photos, videos or masks to pass the face check, or tamper with the app;
• try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, overload or attack the service, or copy, reverse engineer or resell it;
• use Attndi to break the law or to treat employees unlawfully.

Suspicious check-ins are flagged for the company to review. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. What companies agree to

• Tell your employees that you use Attndi, what it records and why, and have a lawful reason to process their information under the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
• Keep employee details accurate, and remove people who leave.
• Review flagged check-ins fairly. Attndi gives strong evidence of presence, but decisions about pay and discipline are yours.

5. Packages and payment

• Each company is on a package with a monthly price in Ugandan shillings, the features it includes and limits on employees, workplace locations and admin accounts. The current packages are on our website.
• We send an invoice each month; it is due within 7 days. You can pay with MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or as agreed with us. A promotional price applies to invoices for months that start before the offer ends.
• If an invoice stays unpaid we may limit or suspend the company's access until it is paid. Records are kept safe meanwhile.
• We may change prices or packages with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from the next invoice after that.

6. The service

We work hard to keep Attndi available and accurate, but it depends on phones, GPS, cameras and internet connections that we don't control, so we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Check-ins made without internet are saved on the phone and sent later when the package includes it. We may improve or change features; we will tell companies about changes that affect them.

7. Ownership

Attndi, its app, dashboard, design and name belong to Digiflect Tech. Companies own their records; we use them only to provide the service, as our privacy policy explains.

8. Ending

A company can stop using Attndi at any time by telling us; it pays for the months already invoiced. We may end or suspend access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. When a company leaves, we delete its data on request, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. Employees can have their account deleted as explained on this page.

9. Liability

As far as the law allows, Digiflect Tech is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or decisions a company makes based on Attndi records, and our total liability to a company is limited to what it paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and the law

We may update these terms and will change the date above; for important changes we will let companies know first. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and disputes go to the courts of Uganda.
